The doorman
It is quite a long time since I first saw the doorman. From then on a whirl of clones has been with me on the roads to this day.
As a cloning it is much more advanced than that studied by scientists:
you don't need any organic stuff to work as the trigger of genesis.
This cloning takes place just by being part of the same... ecosystem.
With the passing of time, the doorman communicates differently.
Evidences we can find on newspapers, in the crime news: a few years ago
people would rather use a screwdriver, today it's the gun.

Over and beyond the current models, or countercurrent currents, I've tried to capsule some witnesses of bygone years.

The Nursery.
The politicians' world is a nursery of shades, revitalizing for the
supporters, anxiety-inducing for the opponents. For the center-left,
Mr. Rutelli who, cleansed by the Jubilee, I feared would never again
cast his shade.But then, there he is, blooming in the campaign of the
Ulivo. On the first posters in circulation, the photo of the Ulivo
representative is an extreme close-up that so squeezes him as to make
him almost burst out the poster: that's Big Brother Rutelli's
photograph.

Besides a Right and a Left, here in Italy we have the gift of
obliqueness: Freemasons, gladius and then the USA and the Vatican.

To every Country its own religion. Ours is the Vatican, the same of the
radio that drowns our favourite radio broadcasting or can be heard on
the entryphone in some districts in Rome. In a somewhat similar way it
gets into the Italian political life: at times soft like a far away
echo, at others deafening or just like an interference.
Mr Rutelli might make us rejoice in something. Definitely, the Polo
driver (leader?) won't keep us waiting and is laying the foundations to
face the problem man to man not only as power of the broadcasting
networks. Actually, on La Stampa dated nov. 15, 2000, you could read:
THE CAVALIERE: I HAVE HEALED A CRIPPLE.···

eleven vs eleven. In the First Division they are all of them myths,
stars, idols. They belong to clubs that have big budgets and have the
very same goal as any other society: making money. And make it at any
price: players with fake passports are enough evidence of their brazen
determination.

how to assess the idol's price? How to understand that the fifty
million dollars the US Congress promised to Kostunica's Jugoslavia,
ravaged by war, are more or less what just one of these idols will earn
in one, two, three, say even four football seasons?
